Stoneberg Alpacas, LLC:

I started Stoneberg Alpacas, LLC in August 2007 with the purchase of 2 pregnant females from Northwest Alpacas. The buying continued and my herd is steadily growing. I have a small 1.5 acre farm, which is just the perfect size for my breeding plan(s).

My farm is run based upon experiences that I have been through since buying my first animal. My goal as an alpaca breeder is to be fair, honest and have an open line of communication with potential buyers. I want loyal clients for as long as I buy, breed and raise these animals.

There are many philosophies in the alpaca world. My philosophy is simple… breed with Impact herdsires. The Studmaster program does just that. I breed with these herdsires and each generation has been better than the previous. They are impact herdsires for a reason and their genetics help to improve generations to come.

My pricing is fair and I will work with buyers to find animals they are comfortable with as well as terms they can afford. I provide regular meaningful updates on all alpacas that I own and birth. I also keep updated pictures.

If you buy from Stoneberg Alpacas, LLC I will help assist you in the future breeding plan with that particular female. Also with the Ideal Alpaca EPD (expectant progeny difference) program, future offspring will be better than his/her parents.

In my other 'career', I follow 3 guidelines:

1. Do my best
2. Do the right thing
3. Treat others the way you would want to be treated

I use these same guidelines with my alpaca business.

My current herd has genetics from Hemingway, Pacific Crest Accoyo Paul Revere, MFI Peruvian Glacial Storm, MFI Peruvian Providence, MSA Peruvian Brunello, 3P Augusto 6009, 2P Camilio G4561 to name a few.

My goal as an alpaca breeder is to use top quality stud males to help improve my herd as well as contribute positively to the United States herd. As I'm sure you will see, my philosophy is simple which equates to the "Ideal Alpaca".
